The National Youth Director of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Reverend Henry Kyei Mensah, has initiated a church-building project at Wawase in the Atimatim District of the Ashanti North Region, as part of the Legacy Temple Project under the Transformation Agenda.

The sod-cutting ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Rev. Dr. Godwin Tito Agyei, Assistant General Superintendent, representing Reverend Stephen Yenusom Wengam, the General Superintendent; Rev. George Ampofo, Ashanti North Regional Superintendent; Rev. Twum Barima, District Pastor; Rev. Faith A. Mannaseh and Rev. Paul Botwe, Regional Youth Directors of Ashanti North and Ashanti West, respectively; Rev. Israel Ntim Gyimah; and other pastors and members of the church.

In his remarks, Reverend Dr. Godwin Tito Agyei, representing the General Superintendent, commended the National Youth Ministry for embracing the vision and prayed for uninterrupted resources to complete and dedicate the project. He also challenged the beneficiary district and local church to provide the necessary support to make the vision a reality.

The District Pastor, on behalf of the local church, expressed gratitude to the National Youth Ministry for the generous gesture and pledged their readiness to give their best towards the project. The ceremony concluded with a declaration of appreciation.
